Dear Asda Story Community,
After many complaints from the community we have decided to take action in giving out bans for anyone guilty of instakilling in high war and mining war by use of a 4th job DoT (damage over time) skill. We would like to get these issues resolved through development, but that is not available at the current time, so this will be our course of action until otherwise stated.
Instakilling is a result of the secondary damage from a skill (bleed, infect, or poison) surpassing a threshold of around 33000 damage, resulting in an instant kill regardless of hp. This instakill is not a designed part of the game. While abuse of this has previously gone unpunished, that is not so anymore. Anyone caught and found guilty of instakilling in high war or mining war will receive a ban as follows:
1st offense - 1 day
2nd offense - 3 days
3rd offense - 1 week
4th offense - 2 weeks
5th offense - 1 month
The 5 skills associated with instakilling are:
Warriors - Bloody Bash, Poison Spear, and Behead
Archers - Splintering Arrow and Light-Weight Bullet
Use of these skills is still allowed, but ONLY if you do not cause an instakill with them.
All cases must be reported via DQA and include a screenshot. Any DQA without a screenshot will not be addressed. If you have problems uploading screenshots, post them to a photosharing site and include the link. Screenshots must show the initial damage from the attacker, as well as the DoT damage to yourself. Also included must be the date/time stamp. If you can target the attacker and have their info and buffs appear in the screenshot also, that would be appreciated. In the DQA you must state who instakilled you and which skill they used to do it. If any of these are not present in the DQA (except attacker info/buffs) your DQA will not be addressed.
All cases will be checked and verified to see if an instakill was done. Part of this will require testing the bugged skill of the accused player. I will contact you in-game to test this. 3 failures to respond to a test (allowing for afk's, brb's, etc.) will result in an automatic offense. To ensure that you are aware you need to meet up with me, I will post a notice list on the website where you can check to see if your name is there.
These rules will go into effect starting tonight after maintenance, 6/21. These rules are subject to be modified in any way at anytime. This notice is your warning, so we will consider all players aware of this rule. Please spread the word and inform your friends of these changes. We appreciate all your comments and concerns on this issue, and hope this will resolve the issue a bit.
Thanks!
